Mix ‘N Mash Fun Tech Tools

There are so many new (and not-so-new) tech tools out there -- here are a few that will help you create cool new things and take old things apart and put them back together the way you want!!

Glogster This tool creates interactive posters, collaborative class projects and much more.  Create book reviews, interactive pages, wiki pages, videos and much more.  It is also a private student-safe environment.  

Masher Masher makes it easy to "mix, mash, and share" video clips, audio files, and photos into polished movies. Students own content as well as media from the BBC Motion Gallery and Rip Curl free for the mashing, and can then be shared on social media sites or via email.

Prezi Prezi makes it easy to create fantastic, brain-friendly presentations. Use the "zebra wheel" to customize, non-linear creative presentations that can be kept for online access or downloaded for personal or professional use. Include pictures, videos, and more. Free presentations for anyone and extended options for teachers and those in Education.

VoiceThread Voicethread is a collaborative, multimedia slide-show that holds documents, images and video.  It allows people to navigate slides and leave comments using voice, text, audio files or film. 

Scratch Create and share your own interactive stories, games, music and art.

Hackasaurus  Hackasaurus makes it easy to mash up and change any web page. Create webpages to share, all within the current internet browser in use.
